Mr. Boniface G. Mphetlhe

Mr Boniface G. Mphetlhe is a seasoned economist with over a decade of experience at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, where he served in both the Development Programmes and Macroeconomics Sections.

He progressed through various roles within the Development Programmes Section, culminating in his appointment as Chief Economist in 2006.He was subsequently appointed Director of Macroeconomic Policy, with responsibility for coordinating national economic policy, including the formulation of the National Development Plan.

Mr Mphetlhe holds a Master of International Affairs (Economic Policy Management) from Columbia University (USA) and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Economics and Accounting) from the University of Botswana.
