Ms. Candice Dubane

Ms. Candice Dubane is the Head Legal & Company Secretary, effective 01 April 2026.

Ms. Dubane currently has been serving as Manager- Legal where she led legal strategy and oversaw governance across a portfolio of group companies. She brings over a decade of experience advising boards, investors, and executive leadership on corporate governance, high-value transactions, and regulatory compliance.

Her expertise spans corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, and cross-border transactions, with a strong track record in structuring complex transactions and strengthening governance frameworks to support sound investment decision-making, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder confidence.

Ms. Dubane holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Banking Law & Finance (Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Nelson Mandela University. She has also completed postgraduate certifications in Governance, Business Strategy, Taxation, Finance, and Risk Management. She is a Member of the Law Society of Botswana and a Registered Legal Advisor with the Botswana Stock Exchange.
